Art is made affordable and accessible through a variety of programming at this arts center. Art exhibits and classes, demonstrations, dance studios, performances, and other special events provide an interactive experience for visitors of all ages. Touring exhibitions bring in works by national and international artists and are displayed in the Eleanor Kirkpatrick Gallery. The center's Community School for the Arts offers year-round workshops, classes and camps for adults and children.

Located in the Arts District downtown, this museum of contemporary art has an extensive permanent collection of American art from the 19th and 20th centuries. The hallmark of the collection is the works of modern greats Richard Diebenkorn, Ellsworth Kelly and Robert Indiana. Touring exhibitions are scheduled on a continuous basis throughout the year.

This enormous science and culture center includes hands-on exhibits that explore everything from space to botany to Ancient Egypt to Japanese culture. The Air and Space Museum features full-scale models of the spacecrafts Mercury, Gemini and Apollo; the Kirkpatrick Gallery has sections of the Berlin Wall on display; and the Kirkpatrick Gardens includes a formal Japanese garden. Enjoy stargazing in the Planetarium.

Five rooms display examples of fine, hand-painted porcelain in Victorian, antique and holiday designs from around the world. This non-profit organization is devoted to the appreciation of this delicate craft, dedicated to advancing the art, and preserving a collection of hand-painted china. In addition to the exhibition areas, the center has a research library and classrooms.
