This museum chronicles Oklahoma's military history from its origins to the present. An outdoor park features more than 40 military vehicles, aircraft, tanks and trucks set on more than 12 acres of land. Inside exhibitions include firearms, original uniforms, World War II cartoons and rare artillery pieces. One highlight of the collection is the display of artifacts acquired from Hitler's apartment when the 45th Infantry Division captured it.

American and International gymnastics are honored in displays and exhibits at this downtown attraction. The Hall of Fame features portraits, sculptures, photographs, uniforms, medals, awards, and other memorabilia dating back to the 1932 Olympic Games. An extensive library and gift shop are also located on site.

NORTHEAST. The history and culture, romance and ruggedness of frontier life are depicted in a wide range of exhibits in this large-scale museum. Paintings by well-known artists Charles Russell and Frederic Remington are the highlight of the Atherton Art Gallery. The American Rodeo Gallery features a bunkhouse, a display of brands and a barbed wire collection. Walk through Property Junction, a life-size recreation of an authentic frontier town.

Located near the state capitol, within the Amateur Softball Association national headquarters complex, the National Softball Hall of Fame pays tribute to the history of the game and its greatest players, coaches, umpires, and sponsors. The large exhibition space honors all facets of the game including fast, slow, and modified pitch, youth and adult leagues, and championship teams.

Exhibits of firefighting equipment throughout history are displayed at this interesting museum that is operated by volunteer and paid firefighters. Antique fire engines, Oklahoma's first fire station, a Civil War-era cabin, uniforms, alarms and patches are among the items on display, as are hands-on interactive exhibits.
